Washover Channels Between Padre & Mustang Islands

Including Packery Channel, Newport Pass and Corpus Christi Pass

These washover channels were opened wide and deep by the outflow from Hurricane Beulah in 1967.  They were also opened By Hurricane Celia in 1970 and other storms.
